August 19th, 2006 - 5K Run and Family Fun Day!
On August 19 about 300 people endured the rain to enjoy the 3rd annual 5K and Family Fun Day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Flower clown and our great DJs Paul and Brian entertained the crowd after the race. Thanks to all who attended and volunteered to help make the day a success.
August 28th, 2004 - 5K Run/1 Mile Walk and Family Fun Day!
NOHSG held its 2nd annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 28th 2004 at 9:00 A.M. at Forest Hills Park in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. This event included music, clowns, raffle prizes, a live animal show, food, beverages, games, etc.
September 14, 2003 - NOHSG raises $4,000 towards research
The first annual Run / Walk / Family Fun Day was held at Forest Hill Park on Sept. 14 2003, to raise awareness and funds for the diagnosis and treatment of Hydrocephalus.
Approximately 50 participants gathered at the start line in Forest Hill Park and prepared for the five-mile run, while another 150 mingled around the face-painting booth and snack stands, waiting for the one-mile walk to begin. The walk ended shortly after 10:30 a.m. but the event continued until about 1 p.m.
Participants of the event enjoyed music, won raffle prizes, were awarded trophies, and were treated to a live animal show. A total of over 200 people came to support the event in it's first year.
